My bomb husband made chalkboard speech bubbles for me for my school's winter dance yesterday. Isn't he the nicest? They came out SO cute! And much cheaper than the $30 people want for them on Etsy!
They were the hit of the winter dance and I want so badly to post pictures of the kids using the speech bubbles but I'd rather not lose my job.
My work bff, Kristine, and I snagged some speech bubbles from the kids and took a few pictures. Unfortunately, twelve year old photographers cut most of the speech bubbles off in the picture (and those suckers had been put through the ringer by this point.) And you should know, this was attempt #12 and attempt #15. You get what you pay for.
Also, you should know that Kristine is a pixie of a person who literally weighs less than 100 pounds and stands 8 inches shorter than me. (I am squatting in these pictures.) Obviously, I feel very ogre-like next to her. And let's be honest, the roots, middle part, and Rudolph nose sure aren't doing me any favors. Go easy on me.
