Surprise!

Holy taco! On Tuesday, Karli texted that she had a "surprise" after school. She insisted on meeting at our house right after school so I hauled butt home, not having any idea why she wanted to meet up so urgently!

When I pulled into the driveway of my house, I saw THIS!


I truly almost peed my pants. I must have said, "What are you doing?!" at least 25 times while Scott just stood there laughing! He wouldn't say anything! Finally, I got out of him that he got some time off this week and decided to fly to Phoenix, and so he could keep it a surprise, he had Karli pick him up at the airport and promise not to say anything! I thought I would kill Karli for not telling me! Our house was a mess!

It was a little crazy being the first week of school, but we had so much fun! I think I max'ed out at about three hours of sleep each night. And I probably max'ed out at 10,000 calories a day. Starting with Oregano's!

Scott was chasing me around Tempe Marketplace trying to mess up my hair (we hadn't slept much so this was pretty much the funniest thing to ever happen at the time) and I got Ryan, the security guard to be my escort! I figured we needed a picture together after bonding like we did!

Shopping at Fashion Square...

Scott's best quality? The boy can SHOP! We must have spent 4 hours at Fashion Square last night and he was like a mad man! He was dropping cash like I could only dream of doing! This is him trying on $200 pajamas!! I was dying laughing because they looked like girl pants and I told him he could go buy some Boyfriend pants at Pink for $36.50 if he didn't mind having "Pink" sprawled across his butt!

I spent way too much time last night in boys' clothing HELL! Seriously, the men's department at Nordstrom is my worst nightmare. (I am more surprised than anyone that I just used Nordstrom and hell in the same sentence. I told Scott he was ruining my happy place!) It's a sea of gray, black, and navy blue. I felt the life being zapped out of me. I feel bad for guys. I don't think I could handle all those boring colors and styles. Blech.

How unbelievably cute are these? The sales guy at the SGH on Rodeo told me I looked like Paris in them and I have dreamed about them every night since! ;)
