In the last 2 weeks, I have felt like I'm living in my classroom! The first week of school is sooo stressful! I was so glad Scott was here because it forced me to leave my stupid classroom. I decided I REALLY like my new class. I don't think they're going to be as easy as my class last year, but there are so many of them that I just want to eat, they're so sweet!
Now that I have been teaching for a few years, I am starting to have the younger siblings of my previous students. I am SO happy this year because I have the little brother of my favorite student of all time! I had his sister for two years when I looped up with my class one year. I absolutely love this family! They are honestly wonderful and they have come to feel like part of my own family! They brought me a basket of goodies on the first day of school, and I wanted to cry! I love them for recognizing how much of your time and heart goes into teaching! They are such good people!
And yes, I have a picture of me and John Krasinski on my desk. All of my students think "Jim" is my boyfriend. Like I would correct them?!
