We just got back from L.A. and while I have lots of fun stories to tell....let's cut to the the chase.....we totally saw Britney Spears last night IN THE FLESH!!! It's true!!!! Jaimi and I were determined to see Britney this weekend and fate totally intervened!
Last night around 10:30 we drug Scott and Wes up to Britney's house at the Summit again to do a little Britney stalking.
When we got up there it was a complete ghost town (when we went up there a couple weeks ago it was flooded with paparazzi.) We were kinda bummed because we figured that meant Britney wasn't home. Her house is wayyy up in the hills and the views are amazing so we decided to pull over and wait a few minutes to see if anything developed. After a couple minutes, Jaimi decided it would be a good idea to WALK up to the guard gate and see if he would let us in. Doesn't that sound like a good idea? We left the boys in the car (shaking their heads) and walked over to the guard. The Grumpypants guard freaked out on us and started yelling at me and Jaimi to go away! Right then, Britney pulled up in her white Mercedes sporting sunglasses at night (??) and we were right there!!! She was 5 feet from us!! We completely freaked and started yelling, "We love you, Britney!" and jumping up and down. I honestly do not remember what happened after that! Scott and Wes said the funniest thing they have ever seen was me and Jaimi running in our heels screaming, "We saw Britney!!!" It makes me laugh thinking about it!
The craziest part was that there were 30 cars full of paparazzi tailing her. It was seriously insane! AND THEN After Britney went through the gate, the paparazzi started taking pictures of US! Can you believe it??? The flashing bulbs were surreal!! ;)
We hung out with some TMZ paparazzi after that and they totally gave us the scoop on all kinds of stuff. This is all of us with Eric, our favorite TMZ photographer.
AND the 2 paparazzi that hung out with Britney the night before were there too! This is Felipe, Brit's new boy toy! He's the guy in the white on the far right. We tried to get some good juice from them on their night with Brit, but they didn't give much up! They did say that they had champagne together and that she was really nice and actually pretty normal.

Britey stalking was so fun and Scott and Wes were such good sports to go with us! I think they really liked it though! We were all contemplating new careers as paps by the time we went home!
Obviously, seeing Britney was the highlight of the weekend but we did so many other fun things too. We did not end up going to Club 33 (long story that involves Karli regurgitating!) but we had a blast hanging around L.A.

This crazy guy is always skating around Robertson! Jaimi was afraid to touch him. The best part is he fluffed his hair before taking this picture!! I love him.
We accidentally stumbled on the Bolthouse offices (where Heidi works on the The Hills) and since Scott and I are obsessed with the Hills we pulled over to take pictures!
Bolthouse inspired us to find the Hillside Villas where Lauren and Audrina live on the Hills. After a little "research" (the iphone has SO many uses!) we found it! It is actually called Villas a Park La Brea. We all decided we are moving in. Scott is going to live next door to us with 2 more guys and we are going to bang on the wall when we need help!

After Hillside Villas, we went to Il Sole in Hollywood for Scott's birthday. Il Sole is an Italian restaurant where the Friends cast frequently visits. I had the best lasagna ever!
We also went to the Grove that night (the cutest place I have ever seen) and went to see Cloverfield at the nicest movie theater I have ever seen! I love the Grove!! There's a water show! Before the movie we had hot chocolate and were attacked by Sabrina the psychic. (Note, this the second time in a month a psychic has approached me on the street to tell me I am a strong woman!
On Sunday, we went to the Santa Monica ward and Jaimi and I were too scared to go in so we took pictures of ourselves in the car instead of going to Relief Society! (I know, that's bad. We did go to Sacrament though, Mom. I promise! ;)
On the drive home today, we spotted Hannah Montana's tour bus on its way to Phoenix for the concert tomorrow. I had to take a picture for all the girls in my class. They love Miley!

what a FUN weekend! I am so excited you saw Britney! That makes it the ultimate! :-) When are you going back? Oh, and yes, it is 5:36am, just fed Holly a bottle and am going back to bed. Maybe I'll dream of The Grove and Robertson! I LOVE THE GROVE TOO! It's the best!
wow!!! you girls have some good So Cal luck!!! I can't believe you actually saw Brit! How cool that you are hanging out with the paparazi! I was hoping to see Perez in Park City but we couldn't get into any of the lounges:(
