We spent Labor Day with the Pobsts and Lainharts hiking at El Moro Canyon, lunching at Cafe Rio, beaching at Corona Del Mar, and having ourselves a barbeque back at the homestead. Good times had by all!
After hiking our booties off at the canyon, we "hiked" down to the beach. My hip flexors felt like they were going to fall off by the time we got to the beach!
Living here might not be so bad after all.
Of course, living in one of these houses right on the beach would be better.
This is the house I picked. It has restaurant-sized patios on every level. With heaters. Sold!
And of course no federal holiday is complete without an appearance from my favorite guy (ok, 2nd favorite guy.)
