On this particular Saturday, we decided to take a leisurely ride on our beach cruisers to enjoy the beautiful SoCal weather. Turns out, I am very persuasive and talked Preston into riding to a giant thrift store in Newport I had been wanting to vist. Yeah, it was a little further than I remembered. We rode 15 miles on beach cruisers. Not exactly like 15 miles on a road bike, I tell you. Luckily, along the way, we grabbed animal crackers and grape soda. (Heaven forbid we should burn some calories.) Oh yeah, and we also stopped here.
Ok, not really. But we did stop long enough to take a picture. How could we not?

so fun! i really want to come visit sometime this summer. the big dilemna is finding a way to stash my 3 kids (wow, three!! kids) somewhere while I go. Hmmmm, maybe I should start working on that now! :)
