I love San Francisco! Preston and I spent Thanksgiving at Cameron and Shannon's this year and had such a fabulous time! Preston's mom flew in from Arizona and we all spent the weekend laughing, eating, watching movies, shopping, obsessing over baby Weston, playing Yahtzee, and eating some more.
On Friday, Shannon and I went into the city for some serious Black Friday shopping. We bought nothing. We spent all day looking for the perfect scarf (or anything else we could justify buying) and came home empty handed. I did, however, have the most amazing time seeing San Francisco! There were so many people out and about and the most incredible stores ever! I loved seeing street performers and the mother of all Forever 21 stores!
We took the BART into the city and when I stepped off the train, I was face to face with a Nordstrom sign. It was like a little train dropped me off in Heaven.
The mall at Union Square was unbelievable! It had the fanciest food court too! The fancy food court didn't have any seats left though so we ate our fancy lunch on the floor. Good times had by all!
So in San Francisco, there are cupcake vans that deliver the goods to you. Yes, please!
I told you the stores were good...
Shannon had been dying to go to Britex, a five-story fabric store! Holy overwhelming.I think she thought she's died and gone to Heaven. I've never seen more fabric in my life. Must learn to sew.
So maybe another reason for our trip into the city might have been a certain cream puff store. That's right. A store devoted solely to cream puffs. And that baby delivered! We must have looked like disgusting heifers to everyone else on the train as we rode home devouring massive cream puffs with a Diet Coke in the other hand. That's my kind of commuting!
Remember Weston? I seriously consider stealing him. Every night. He is so squishy and delicious! He loves his Uncle Preston.
Uncle Preston and Weston watching the BYU game together. Such men!
The Rosenhans are serious Yahtzee players. This is honestly what every night looked like. Except this night, Margaret made to die for homemade caramel corn to go with our game and Shannon bought Thrifty brand Chocolate Malted Crunch, Cameron's and Preston's favorite. YUM!
I don't know about Yahtzee. It's too stressful for my taste. All that thinking and counting! It's supposed to be a game, not a test!
We loved being with Cam, Shan, Weston, and Margaret. It was the perfect weekend. We would have been so sad to go home except we get to see Cam, Shan, and Weston this weekend here in the OC!
Oh, and on our drive home we saw this. I'm confused. I thought we lived in California. Get this white stuff out of here!

Ok, I died laughing about 50 times while reading this. I think you captured the whole trip perfectly. I might just link to your post because why try and compete with these details? And did you hear the BAD BAD news?? Cameron went into survey which means no Christmas party, no OC, no hanging out on the beach, no you, and no digital coke machine. I'm not ok with this.
Sounds like a great trip! (That's my favorite Thrifty ice cream flavor too)
s
I still don't understand this chocolate malted crunch flavor?? I'll stick with cream puffs.
thanks for the compliment about my dog! we think he's pretty cute too. i got him from a lady, who got him from a breeder, but decided she couldn't handle a puppy. so, while i've never been in contact with the breeder, i do have her information from harley's vet paperwork.
her name is megan whitbeck. her address is 2160 east panarama prkwy, st george utah 84790. her phone # is (435) 862-7180. harley's parents were snicker's rocky and reeces pieces.
what i love about harley is that he is full yorkie, but he is not too tiny. he is big for a yorkie- about 12 pounds. but he is so playful, entergetic, and can run for days. some of my friends have 5 pound yorkies and you pick them up and can just feel all their bones-- you feel like you could break them if you stepped on them. harley will be great around kids. he's just such a great size and solid. my husband plays loves to wrestle and play rough with him-- and harley dishes it right back out! ha. good luck!
what a fun trip! we sure are excited to come and visit!!
