"I hate you and your stupid ideas!"

That's a bit harsh, don't you think? Yeah, well, that is exactly what Jaimi yelled at me as we hiked Camelback Mountain yesterday!

Considering we were both suffering from severe head colds, my idea may not have been the brightest. I'll give her that. And I got it in my head that I wanted to hike the more difficult of the two trails. Little did I know this would mean crawling on your hands and knees and shimmying down on my butt. But, in the end, it was really fun. I decided I really like complaining, hence, I like hiking. Hiking = Lots of complaining.

Without further adieu, here is proof that I made it to the top of Camelback! (And if you run up Camelback every day blindfolded in the heat of a Phoenix summer as your warm up, I obviously don't want to hear from you.)

The beginning of the end...

See the handrails? Bad sign. I had to literally crawl up this part on my hands and knees.

But at least there were pretty views along the way...

See. I told you it was pretty.

We sorta had to take some breaks along the way.

Most of the hike looks like this. I felt like a ninja crawling over the boulders!

But we finally made it to the top! Gosh, Phoenix is pretty, isn't it?

Further proof!

To reward ourselves for a job well done, we hit the Pinkberry knockoff, Mojo Yogurt at Tempe Marketplace. (I've got to stop rewarding myself for working out with food.)

Pinkberry it is not. But it sure was the perfect end to a great spring break day!

I don't think that is exactly what I said! Maybe.
