The best of 2008

I can't believe 2008 is coming to an end. It flew! It was definitely filled with some ups and downs for me. Some things I can't wait to forget and some things I still love to look back at and remember.

January

Hung out with some firemen in Scottsdale. Realized if it is the last thing I do, I must marry a fireman.

Saw Britney. In person. With Sam Lutfi. At the height of her hysteria. Befriended "TMZ Eric." Filmed for TMZ. Awesome.

February

Met John Kraskinski. At an Oscar's party. That we snuck into. Rubbed shoulders with George, Jennifer, and Orlando. (That's Clooney, Aniston, and Bloom, for those of you not on a first name basis like me ;)

March

"Ran into" my good friend, Nick Lachey. Noticed he was with my other good friend, Matt Leinart. Took picture with Nick while Matt sat in the car.

April

"Ran into" my good friend, Jason Castro. Had his arm wrapped around my waist. Loved it!


Monster trucks with Nate. Realized the mohawk is the new mullet.

May

Birthday dinner at Oregano's with the girls.


The OC tour to end all OC tours. Convinced unsuspecting rehab patient to let us tour the Cooper-Nickel mansion. Didn't realize it was a rehab facility until we got inside and saw doors labeled "Treatment Room." Kinda scary.

June

Almost got arrested at Target. Crazy lady accused me of stealing her knockoff Coach cell phone holder. As if.

July

Went to Miami. Attacked by a homeless man on the street who threw rocks at our heads. Ran down Collins Avenue in heels and hid in a parking garage.

August

Scott's surprise visit. Spent first week of school extremely sleep deprived. Lived on Diet Dr. Pepper. Slept through the Dark Night.

Dancing at Area in LA. Got in because Dane is the most well-connected guy in Southern California. Security tried to take me to VIP area to meet some strange guy who wanted to buy me a drink. Promptly left after that.

September

Started going to new ward. Realized guys scratch each other's backs. Horrified. Also realized some friends from the old ward were in the new ward and it wouldn't be so bad.

October

Saw Wicked with Mom. Ate chicken and dumplings at Mary Mac's before the show. Loved it all.

November

Watched Jaimi ride a bull on her birthday. Almost peed my pants. Also ate three feet of cotton candy with Melissa.

December

Phooson with Katie and Carrie. Realized I may have a thing for guys in skinny jeans. Weird.
