And the madness begins again...

Just when I thought I was over the pumpkin-glittering madness of last year, the obsession rears its ugly (but very sparkly) head! And I'm just getting warmed up....

I glittered some small pumpkins with my mom at my parents house last night and they came out pretty cute. (This is just practice for when I break out the big guns at my own house next week!) I decided I LOVE the purple pumpkins!

I saw this super cute glittered skull at Pottery Barn last week and decided I could make my own! I bought a $1.49 skull at Michael's and glittered away. They would look so cute with the black glitter too.

Here is a closer look at my attempt...

And mine is a candle holder! I can't wait to see how cute they will look with black candles in them!

I am so excited to get home now and glitter my own pumpkins. I need LOTS of them, small and GINORMOUS, and I want to put them on a mirrored tray. Cute, cute, cute!

Thanks again to Miss Jaimee Rose for making me a pumpkin-glittering fiend...can you glitter turkeys?

omg, I love the skull! I glittered a pumpkin over the weekend, too. but... it was my first attempt and not as pretty as yours. Im gonna keep trying, though. do you mind if I borrow your skull idea? (I just know Im gonna drive my boyfriend CRAZY with this glittering thing.) also, do you keep yours inside the house? how long do they keep?

have you tried Target for the Art Glitter? I heard that Art Glitter is best, too. if I cant find it, Im gonna try the Martha Stewart glitter.

I used spray paint to make the pumpkin white and to get the glitter to stick. what do you use? glue? hand paint?
