So You Think You Can Dance stalking!

Every single week of the summer that I was in Atlanta, I got SYTYCD tickets in my email. Doesn't it figure that the week I am in California, is the ONE week I couldn't get any tickets?! We probably could have gotten in to the taping if we had wasted our day standing in line, but I have to be honest, I am not that into Dance this season. I actually love ALL of the dancers (minus Comfort!) but the routines have been a little tame and for some reason, I haven't been AS interested in the show this year. Don't get me wrong, I won't miss an episode for anything, but I'm not as passionate about Dance as Idol. And that's probably a good thing :)

Since we couldn't go to the show, we decided to hit the Grove after the Thursday taping because we heard from a secret source that all the dancers go to Maggiano's for dinner ;) Much to Scott's dismay, we parked ourselves outside of Maggiano's! We waited for at least an hour but we never saw anyone.....YET! We did get to see Katie and Dane again though so all was not lost!

As we wandered through the Grove, we came upon the filming of a new Eddie Murphy movie called 1000 Words. The crew was just setting it up while we were there and starting to block things off, but Eddie was nowhere in sight! That's probably a good thing too...I'd have to give him a piece of my mind for being so mean to Mel B ;)

We finally decided to eat at Cheesecake Factory and as we sat down to eat, who walked in??? GEV!! It was really funny because he and his dad walked in and sat at the table next to us and as he greeted the people at the table waiting for him, I thought he was saying hi to ME! He obviously was not. But he could not possibly have been any nicer! He hugged both me and Jaimi and as we took the picture, he was making fun of himself for being so short next to us! I took off my shoes but he made me put them back on!

This picture is truly grotesque and if Gev wasn't in it, there is NO way I would post this baby! My face was so sunburned from the beach that day, I had to make the picture sepia! I swear, I am not taking pictures in California anymore. My hair freaks out and my face becomes a highly reflective surface! Gross.
