I am DYING waiting for the finale tonight! I have some MAJOR issues with last night's show though. WHAT IN THE WORLD WERE THE JUDGES THINKING??!?!
I love me some Archie, but come on! My little Cookie is clearly a better performer and has done more in the competition than any other contestant. I wanted to come through the tv and rip Simon's face off when he declared last night a knock out. It SO was not! I get that Archuleta has a beautiful voice but David Cook is an artist and I thought he was amazing as usual last night! I loved that he took a risk and performed a new song rather than a safe song he already knows has had the judges' seal of approval.
On a side note, let's talk about David Cook crying at the end. I wanted to put a fork in him and eat him for dinner! (Melissa, that would be with some syrup like a waffle!;)
To my poor friends who had to watch Idol with me last night, I'm sorry for becoming violent and verbally abusive towards the tv.I still can't figure out why you agreed to watch with me...you had to know it was coming! ;)
P.S. I am such a slacker. I seriously almost forgot how to blog it has been so long but I got to go to Idol again 2 weeks ago for the top 4 performance show and I swear I am going to blog about it as soon as I get a few minutes that are not consumed with school! In the meantime, just know that I HUGGED DAVID COOK! And it was beautiful. And lingering. And he we totally had another moment. And I told him that my class votes for him as their homework. He totally laughed!

Cook, Cook, Cook, Cook!!!! I was worried you were going to start crying last night as we were watching it!!! Let's keep our fingers crossed. I totally agree with you. Archie has an amazing voice, no one can question his talent but Cook has a great voice, a great stage presense and is an amazing performer. They will both be successful no matter what but I hope Cook wins!!!

I agree with you that the judges were way harsh. I LOVED the last song and was suprised at the commments. I'm glad he came through and won it though! I can't wait to hear about your moment!
I thought of you Hilarry after I watched the finals! Congrats! I am sure that your positive energy (not to mention your kids voting for Cook as homework) no doubt swung the vote in his favor! Nice work!!!
