Katie, I'm so glad you are on board with David Cook!! I was so excited to hear your message :) But how can you deny his hotness? I don't get it! I am going to send him a BOM and marry his assets!

Ok, so I watched tonight's episode all by myself because my roommate is out of town. I thought I could handle watching Idol alone. I can't! I was dying! I need to discuss every aspect of American Idol with someone. I was calling everyone! (Everyone, that is, who would not have a sleeping baby! That's you, Eva and Katie!) It was horrible. I am still feeling like I need vent some of my Idol thoughts though so I am posting my ranking of the top 9, ok? And Karli, I am so coming over tomorrow night to watch with you and Kayla :)
1. David Cook (He really is amazing-and I don't usually love the type of music he sings! When he tilts his head back as he sings...it's too much!)
2. Michael Johns (Awesome performer. He's such a natural! And almost as hot as my boyfriend!)
3. David Archuleta (How can you not love him? I want to carry him around in my pocket!)
4. Brooke White (I have cried a couple times when Brooke sings! She seems so genuine.)
5. Kristy Lee Cook (I don't care what anyone says-she has the best voice of all the girls. She might not be very dynamic but I like her. Plus, she was really nice to me at Idol when we went to the taping so now we are BFF's!)
6. Jason Castro (Ok, I used to really like him but he really has no voice. I think he's adorable and I want him to do really well but his voice is not on par with the rest of the guys.)
7. Ramiele Mulabay (Over it.)
8. Syesha Mercado (She has an awesome voice but she is so annoying. I can't handle her beauty pageant answers and smiling into the camera!)
9. Carly Smithson (I would say I'm over her but I've never been a fan. I don't think her voice is pretty-just loud. And she's so cocky to me. And I also hate how she bounces when she sings. And I hate how she dresses. And I can't get past her husband's tattooed face. I know. I'm superficial)
Best case scenario tomorrow night for me would be, "SAYONARA CARLY!" I have a feeling, though, that it will probably be my friend, Kristy, getting the proverbial boot tomorrow ;)

You SO should have called! I watched it alone too because Jon was working and Holly was sleeping. I actually thought about waking Holly up to watch Idol with me, but then I remembered she is only 9 months old and probably would have hurt my Idol experience more than helped it! :-) RAMIELE NEEDS TO GO!!!!! I agree with mostly everything you said. Jason isn't as good as everyone else and I think Brooke may be in trouble too. Can't wait for tonight!
Your idol commentary talk is so right on the money! Kristi is one of my favs with the number one best voice (of all the current lady idols of course)! I am so glad Ramiele went home this past week (she was the one I thought was going and I'm so glad I was right)! Jason should be the next to go, if he stops getting the popularity teen vote! If people vote on pure voice quality Jason and Syesha should go before my girl Kristi, putting her in the top 6 (maybe 5 if people hop off the Carly train). Keep the idol comments coming--I loved reading your opinion...and I'm so glad I heard about Think Pink! This is one sweet blog!
