It began on Friday night when Jaimi, Scott, Megan, and I went to Hollywood and Highland, the sight of the Oscars and home to the most famous red carpet in the world. They were busy getting everything ready for Sunday night's show and it was so cool to see it all in person. We were even able to snap a couple pictures of the famous Oscar statue!
We also went to Mel's Diner for a late night snack and supposedly just missed Brody Jenner! Shame, shame!
On Saturday afternoon, Jaimi, Wes, Scott, and I stopped for a bite at our favorite spot, the Ivy! We saw the famous (from TMZ!) Prince Von Anhault and Piers Morgan from Celebrity Apprentice and America's Got Talent there. This is Scott and I trying to make the paps think we were celebs!
As we were driving by Orso, in Hollywood, we saw a bunch of paps climbing over the wall to get a shot of someone eating on the patio! I seriously JUMPED out of the car and ran down the street in my heels to see what was going on. Jaimi, Scott, and Wes were left in the dust! Turns out it was Evangeline Lily from Lost. This was the scene as she was trying to leave. It was insane! I kept right up with the paparazzi running after her in my heels!
After the Ivy, we went by Lauren Conrad's new house and her and Audrina were moving in! We talked to Lauren's dad and he was so nice! We told him we were big fans of the show and he went and got Audrina for us! She totally came outside and took a picture with us. I thought Scott was going to pee his pants! He loves the Hills more than I do and Audrina is his favorite. In fact, when we originally lined up to take the picture, I was next to Audrina so I shoved him in my place so he could be next to her! It was his dream come true!
I cropped the picture to send to Scott and now I can't figure out where I saved the full picture with all of us! When I find it, I'll post it,

Later that night, we decided to go to "Night Before" the Oscars party to see if we could spot any celebs in the lobby. I don't know what we were expecting but it exceeded our wildest dreams!
We didn't even think we would be able to get in but we just waltzed right up the red carpet and into the hotel! It was so crazy. There were obviously no paps there and there were only a few other people in the lobby who were not celebs! We were kind of standing around in the lobby for a minute or two when we realized we were standing next to Cher! Random! Within 5 minutes, GEORGE CLOONEY walked right by us!! A minute or so after that, JENNIFER ANISTON and ORLANDO BLOOM walked by!!! When I say walked by, I mean within 5 feet of us! Seriously! We made Jaimi take notes of everyone we saw on her blackberry and the final list is 68 people long!!
Most of the celebs we saw were totally A-List....P.Diddy, Steven Spielberg, Cameron Diaz, Meg Ryan, Will Smith, Harrison Ford and Calista Flockhart, Josh Groban, and the list goes on and on! (Really, it does! See below :) So many of the celebrities were totally cool! Cameron Diaz said hi to us, Katherine McPhee gave us her swag bag, Channing Tatum who I love more than life, stopped to talk and introduce himself to us, Ricki Lake said "Hi honey!" to me, Dave Annable from Brothers and Sister high-fived us, Josh Groban asked us how we were doing, and John Kraskinski from the Office took a picture with me!! I totally interrupted John Krasinski talking to Laure Dern and Ben Lee! It was so tacky, I know, but he is the ultimate for me! I had to! I begged Scott to go with me and take my picture. He was SOOOOOO nice and really friendly! He was definitely the coolest celeb I have ever met.
I wish I had more pictures but it was a private party and we were attempting to be discreet. I was good up until Channing Tatum. There was no chance at being discreet at that point! Seriously, it's so crazy....John Krasinski and Channing Tatum are my favorites ever and I totally go to meet them both!

Jaimi and I with Channing Tatum....my face says it all. Hilarious, huh? I was freaking out!! A security guy came over to tell us we couldn't take pictures and Channing shoo'ed him away! I told Channing I saw Step Up 8 times in the theater! I think he was impressed...or scared ;)
This is Wes with Ron Jeremy. If you know who he is....gross. Wes actually shook his hand and we promptly gave him some hand sanitizer ;)

Oh! I almost forgot...I am completely obsessed with OC and I am watching the whole series over again for the 3rd times! I really think it is the best show ever made! Anyway, I had just said to Jaimi, I would die to see someone from the OC, and a couple minutes later Ben McKenzie walked by! He was sooo short....but he said hi to us as he walked by so I was thrilled!
After the Beverly Hills Hotel, we hit Mel's again to look for Brody but he was no where in sight :( We did see Ben Foster there though and Scott and Wes were very excited. This is them discussing their favorite scenes from Alpha Dog. We thought their little budding bro-mance was cute! ;)
All in all, Saturday night was the most exciting night of my life! We decided it is now a tradition. Every year, same time, same place!
How could we not repeat this?!?!?
One last thing, we saw this guy at the Ivy and we can't remember who he is!! Does anyone know?
