We just got back from California last night and it was the best trip EVER! We took Friday off from school (YES!) and drove to Long Beach Thursday night. The drive usually takes 5 hours but 8 hours after leaving Phoenix we finally found Ann-Marie's house. No lie...every freeway in L.A. is under construction!! With Karli sleeping in the backseat and dumb and dumber (that would be me and Jaimi) navigating, it was a LONG night!
We spent Friday at the garment district ( which was totally lame because a stupid inspector was there the ENTIRE time!) and then hit the shops on Robertson. We even ate lunch at the Newsroom Cafe and scoured the Ivy for celebs! Later that night we went to Pink's Hot Dogs with our new friends, Scott and Lee, and then to 3rd Street and finally SKID ROW!!! (Most hilarious part of the night, for sure!)
We spent all day (and I do mean ALL) Saturday at California Adventure and Disneyland which I now believe IS the happiest place on Earth! I can't believe I was such a doubter. I felt like I was laughing for 14 hours straight. Scott came with us to Disneyland and seriously kept us all in hysterics the whole time. It was the most fun ever.
Oh!! I have been dying to go to Pinkberry so we found one completely by accident on our way out of L.A. yesterday and it was everything I hoped it would be...and more! It is divine!!! It was all very California. I think I AM California! I am so living in the wrong state! I am moving to L.A. to pursue my paparazzi career :)

sounds SO fun! i do miss those cali trips! WHAT'S THE DEAL BEN? Remember Skid Row when I said - "Jesus would talk to these people" or something crazy like that! SO funny! the best was the infamous fight at McDonald's though! CLASSIC! I am glad you guys are having so much fun! We should go and take Holly sometime! She would make it so fun! :-)
