I LOVE teaching 5th grade! Days before school started, I found out I was going to be teaching 5th grade instead of 6th this year. Disappointed does not even BEGIN to describe it! I love 6th grade and I really could not imagine moving down a grade level. I honestly thought I was going to hate the whole year. Turns out I was so wrong! I have the sweetest kids on the planet and I could not be happier! 5th graders are awesome because they are sassy enough to be fun but still give you hugs after lunch like they haven't seen you in ages!
They're so funny because they are always drawing me pictures and leaving me sweet notes. I thought this first one was especially funny. This super cute little girl in my class likes to stay and help me after school. On this particular day, I had Student Council so I had to leave. After totally ditching her, she left me a note on my desk telling me what all she did and telling me I rock? How awful am I? I totally bail on her and she leaves me a nice little note! Anyway, this year has turned out to be such a blessing and I am so grateful for my awesome little class!
