Preston fixed my bike all up for me (isn't he nice?) so I took the ole girl out today. Remember how I said there are only a few perks of unemployment? This is surely one of them. I can't think of a better way to console myself than with a bike ride around Huntington Beach!
Would you like to see our new neighborhood? First, I should probably share my secret of Lance Armstrong-like bike riding prowess. Diet A&W. Skip the water. Trust me.
Let's get started with some scenes from our new neighborhood by the beach! (Clearly, none of these houses are our little 2-bedroom apartment :)
(I had no idea this cute little park is around the corner from us)
I love this house. It's so cute and a block from the water. Preston laughs at me because the reason I love this house it because it's so symmetrical. I have a thing for symmetrical houses.
Have I shown you what lies 2 blocks from our house? Just the Pacific ocean. No big deal!
How's this for a bike trail?
Even better, huh? You can ride right along the sand!

When my family and I moved to Va 4 years ago we rented a beach house that was across the street from the beach. It was awesome to see dolphins in the morning and so fun to hang out on the beach in the evening. Awesome pics girlie!
ok, how are you getting your pics so big not using photobucket. I want to know! And I totally agree on the the skipping water... it is so overrated. Don't worry, I have some of that a&w on hand when you get up here.
heaven.
