The honeymooners
Boy, oh boy, did we have a good time! We are officially cruisers. Could there be a better vacation? I think not!
We went on a week-long cruise to the Bahamas and we're already trying to coerce everyone into having a family reunion cruise next summer! It was much fun! We loved not having to plan or worry about anything. No google mapping, no renting a cars, no eating crappy food. It was so cool to have constant entertainment (and food) just a few steps away. Not only does someone put a napkin in your lap and pull out your chair, you can order as many appetizers, dinners, and desserts as you can handle! And did I mention there is an all-night pizza bar? I am so serious. I want to go on another cruise right now. Actually, I want to live on a cruise.
Before boarding the ship, we had to take a little detour to the Brevard County Sheriff's office. No, we weren't in trouble but we did get to ride in the back of the sheriff's car!
This is our firts taste of the lunch buffet. Love at first sight! We didn't wake up early enough to go to the breakfast buffet until the very last day and suffice it to say we had been missing out.
Confession: I had to put a caption on this picture because leaning over in that dress left me...how should we say....exposed! But I think Pres looks so hot here! We were at the Love and Marriage game show. It sounds hokey, I know. It was hilarious!
Attempting to dance...no further explanation needed.

This is Preston with Byron Scott. He spotted him in Nassau from a moving van!! He was so excited to meet him. The funny part? The last time he ran into him was at Houston's in Phoenix.

My friends, allow me to introduce you to the midnight buffet. Yeah, baby. We sat on the top deck listening to music while we left Nassau with 5 plates of goodies between the two of us. (Don't worry. We didn't eat all 5 plates...we were just totally wasteful ad indulgent and filled our plates with everything that looked remotely edible just because we could :) Paradise, I tell you!

Preston took this picture of me where I am being completely awkward to show you the cute pink bolero my mom made me! She made me a black one too. Isn't she talented?
This is us with Don and Peter, our waiters for the entire cruise. We love them. Especially, Peter. He is from Slovakia and he never judged when we ordered three or more desserts. He's a good man.
This is what a week of cruise eating will do to you.
Getting ready to deboard...so sad.
So when I fly with Preston, I might get priority access when boarding. I feel so cool. All the passengers waiting to board give you a strange look when you do this though, as if you might be important and they just don't know it. Well, obviously, we are not important but we decided to give our fellow passengers something to text about while they boarded!
When we got in to Phoenix, we spent the night at Preston's mom's house before driving back to Huntington the next morning....this is what we woke up to! Thanks Belinski! :)
We also woke up to this!
Too graphic? I woke up Saturday morning looking like this (Poor Preston) and in excruciating pain. The Rosenhan's family friend who is an ophthalmologist, Dr. Ford, met us in his office within an hour (and it was a Saturday!) Really, he's the best. If you need an eye doctor, go see him! He diagnosed me with a corneal ulcer (seriously!) and I've been on meds ever since. It made for an interesting few days!
As soon as we left Dr. Ford's office, we packed our stuff and hit the road so we unload the car in Huntington and make it to Temecula that night for the grand finale to the honeymoon!
Oh my gosh, Gaffigan was so funny. I thought Preston was going to die. I have never seen him laugh so hard. He was almost funnier than Gaffigan. Preston was already laughing when he was just beginning to set the jokes up! I promise I have never had so much fun. Watching Preston alone was worth going!! He's so cute.
The honeymoon was awesome. Perfect. Couldn't have been any better (minus the corneal ulcer bit!) I love being married!
