Happy Anniversary!
Time flies when you're having fun! Today is our one month anniversary! We look at each other alot and say, "We're freakin married!" It's so surreal but at the same time, it feels completely normal. I can't believe how much I love being married and I can't believe how much more I love Preston! What are some of the things I love about him, you ask?
1. He is so funny! When he can see I'm having a melt-down (clothes or job related which there have been many of as of late) he does the silliest things to make me laugh (I won't go into what they are because there's a possibility our moms might be reading this!) and it always makes me feel better!
2. He makes sure we say we get on our knees and say our prayers together every night before we go to sleep. Even when we were engaged and living in different states, we would say them together every night on the phone. When it's his turn, he prays for his new nephew, my mom's job, his mom's health, my friends safety, our neighbor's new baby, and even our landlord! If you're reading this, you've probably been featured in our nightly prayers. He is such a good example. I can't think of a single guy I ever dated who is as good as him. He is gold.
3. He watches Big Brother with me. Don't get me wrong, he would never watch it on his own, but he knows I like it and he says he just wants to be with me so he suffers through it!
4. He is freaking hot. I'm so serious. He is super tall and yummy and manly. Sometimes when I see him across the room at church, or when I come around an aisle in the grocery store not expecting to see him, I find myself thinking, "Whoah. That guy is hot!" Thank goodness its my husband I'm thinking that about!
5. He opens all my doors.
6. He loves him mom something fierce. Actually, he loves all his family something fierce. I love that about him.
7. He always put me ahead of him. That one is actually hard for me! But he always puts my wants and needs in front of his own. I'm telling you, he's a gem.
8. He reads US Weekly over my shoulder. (He won't like that I said that!) I love it.
9. He does a great Ladies Man impression. It makes me almost wet my pants! Actually, he does a great Scottish accent and a killer Beatles accent too! It truly makes my day.
10. He is just good. He is so faithful and kind and obedient. He would do anything for anyone and he usually does. I've seen him offer to buy a bum a pair of shoes, help an old lady in a wheel chair board a flight, and he never lets me carry anything. He encourages me to go to the temple, read my scriptures, or look for ways to give service just because I watch him do it all the time.
There were so many times I thought marriage just wasn't in the cards for me (ummm...hitting 29, pretty much resolved that for me!) but I am so, SO glad I waited for Preston and he waited for me. If I didn't know the Lord knows me specifically and is aware of my needs before, I know it now.

you just made me cry. It is so great to see you so happy. I can't wait to get to know Preston better. He sounds great. We are lucky we got great ones to spend forever with :).
Yay! I couldn't be happier for you! Btw, Joey reads US Weekly too...
